About the
Conference
This
conference is intended for all who are interested in education,
research and services in the field of travel medicine and migration
medicine. Specifically including physicians, nurses and students
involved in primary care, occupational, migrant and public health,
infectious diseases, emergency and wilderness medicine. Also, it is
designed to meet the needs of the travel media and industry as well
as manufactures of travel health-related products, drugs and
vaccines. In order to give you an idea of the scope of the
conference, we have provided examples of anticipated topics.
However, this list is not meant to be all-inclusive as the broadest
range of travel health issues will be discussed during this
international meeting.
The CISTM11
has obtained
accreditation by the European
Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to
provide CME
activity for medical specialists (21 credit
points). The EACCME is an institution of
the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS),
http://www.uems.net/.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association
towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA).
This continuing educational
activity has also been approved by the International Council of
Nurses (ICN) for the award of 19.5 International Continuing
Nursing Education Credits (ICNECs). Details are provided at
